The Experience

The Snoxcapes, Newfoundland snowmobile tourism experience is like no other on the planet – definitely NOT your typical island getaway! As your hosts, we will make sure that all aspects of your Newfoundland snowmobile adventure will be headache and problem free right from the time your plane touches down in Deer Lake until it takes you back to reality. While staying here with us, in the Bright Yellow House, you’ll be treated like family so that you truly experience all that Newfoundland hospitality has to offer.

Airport Shuttle

Shuttle service to and from the airport to the Bright Yellow House so you can start your Snoxcapes adventure worry-free – just like a typical Newfie!

Rentals

The logistics of getting your rentals to and from the rental shop (third party provided) will be looked after. Snowmobiles are stored in a heated facility (Boggan Barn) when they are not in use. We look after everything. You just show up! **Clients are responsible for their own fuel and oil.

Accommodations

Your group will enjoy mornings and evenings relaxing at the Bright Yellow House, with stunning views of the Blow Me Down Mountains and the beautiful Bay of Islands. Keep your eyes open as the Canadian Coast Guard is a frequent visitor in the port of Corner Brook.

Groomed trails and backcountry riding

In minutes you will have access to a groomed snowmobile trail network that will be your segue to the wide open spaces that make up the backcountry riding of western Newfoundland. Amazing views and vistas await. The terrain is suitable for all ranges of skill level.

Meals

Your tastebuds will be tantalized with a selection of Newfoundland favorites – Jiggs Dinner, toutons – as well as other all-time favorites. Breakfast and Supper will be served at the Bright Yellow House and trail lunches and snacks will be provided.

Social Setting

After a day of riding, clients can sit around in the Boggan Barn and relive some of the highlights of their day of unforgettable riding, next to a blazing fire. The Boggan Barn has also been know to be the site of a few good ol’ shed parties and Screech-ins. In Newfoundland we take personal relationships seriously so we think this part of the day is almost as important/fun as the riding!
